Bed Bug Treatments — common questions
How many bed bug treatments will I need?+
Usually two visits, spaced 10–14 days apart, so we catch nymphs hatching from eggs the first treatment can't kill.
Do I need to throw out my mattress?+
Almost never. We treat the mattress, base, headboard and surrounding harbourage points directly. Bagging or discarding bedding is only needed in severe cases.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?+
Yes. We use low-toxicity products approved for use around children and pets. Once the treatment has dried (usually 1–2 hours), the area is safe to return to as normal.
How long does a treatment take?+
Most general pest treatments take between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the size of your property and the pest we're targeting.
Do you offer a warranty?+
Every general pest treatment includes a 30-day free call-back. If the pest comes back within that window, so do we — at no extra cost.
How soon will I see results?+
You'll usually see dead pests within 24–48 hours. Cockroach and ant colonies can take 7–14 days to fully collapse as the bait spreads through the nest.
