Cockroach Treatments — common questions
Why don't over-the-counter sprays work on cockroaches?+
Supermarket sprays only kill the roaches you see. The colony breeds behind walls, in voids and inside appliances. Our gel baits and IGRs are carried back to the nest, wiping out the population — not just the visible few.
Do I need to empty cupboards before a cockroach treatment?+
For a standard general treatment, no. For a heavy kitchen infestation we may ask you to clear a few key cupboards so we can gel-bait cracks and hinges directly.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?+
Yes. We use low-toxicity products approved for use around children and pets. Once the treatment has dried (usually 1–2 hours), the area is safe to return to as normal.
How long does a treatment take?+
Most general pest treatments take between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the size of your property and the pest we're targeting.
Do you offer a warranty?+
Every general pest treatment includes a 30-day free call-back. If the pest comes back within that window, so do we — at no extra cost.
How soon will I see results?+
You'll usually see dead pests within 24–48 hours. Cockroach and ant colonies can take 7–14 days to fully collapse as the bait spreads through the nest.
